July Planning: Fireworks & Floral Clusters

Hey friends!

I spent sometime this weekend getting my planners July ready. You can catch the Plan with Me I filmed towards of the bottom of this post.

I’ve got my Big Happy Planner all set to crush my fitness goals this coming month. I modified my July currently page to make it work for me. This time I made a sticker to list all the recipes I want to try this month. I’ll be searching for some yummy things I want to try this week and jotting them down.

I converted the birthdays section to a workouts grid to list workouts I want to get to done in July and make notes of weight increases in my reps. I went with Georgia Peach to set up my pages because I felt it worked well with the colors on the pages.

My monthly spread is really simple. A little decoration on the top with the July Fireworks monthly kit and rest day along the Sunday column. I’ve also added some blue scale icons to record my weigh-ins. I’ll be adding stickers later to marks the days I get a workout in. My goal is to workout 6 days a week and get in at least 12,000 steps every day. I had been struggling to break 10,000 steps but I feel I finally found my walking groove.

I made a sticker sheet to add to my planner to keep some stickers handy when I’m keeping track of my progress. I added some icons and little arrows and then punched it with my Planner Punch Board using the Disc Inserts. Having these right in my planner is going to make it easier for me to keep track of what I’m doing and motivate me to work harder.

Working in my Flagship Day Designer brings me so much joy!

I went with the Fireworks Monthly kit in our Annie color palette because I wanted to use some blue and red hues in honor of 4th of July. My favorite details are the coffee cup and floral cluster under July and the florals in the bottom corner. I cut out most of the decoration with this spread using the Gyro Cutter. I didn’t have the sheet ready to cut with my Silhouette so I just hand cut them with the gyro.

We’re going to be in Chicago this month for a workshop and I spanned our trip with CHICAGO in a bold font with a diagonal stripe overlay. I added in little groupings of arrows to show our travel directions.

I made a matching sticker insert in Annie to add stickers to my notes section and into my daily spreads later on. I used the Planner Punch Board with the Spiral Insert to punch my sticker sheet.

If you want to see it how it all came together you can watch my Plan with Me here:

I hope you found some inspiration to get your monthly pages ready. Thank you so much for stopping by and for all the love you send my way ❤

See you tomorrow for a new Design Spotlight!
