I hope your weekend was fabulous!
I got a lot of work in on Saturday because on Sunday we drove down to the beach with my in-laws for Father’s day. Time went by so quickly and I’m so thankful for all the lovely memories we created. We got stuck in traffic on the way back home so I spent the time doodling and reading. What’s your favorite thing to do on long drives with your family?
This morning I shared a video on our YouTube channel all about how I’m using my Big Happy Planner. In May I took out the first few months and created a fitness planner for myself. I’m making notes on meals, workouts I’m doing, my daily step count, sleep and logging in weight loss. I have found that I’m more likely to stick to something if I write it down.
My monthly spreads are very simple. I’m using small circles to track workouts. I’m weighing myself once a week and making a note of that. My goal is baby steps to pre-holiday weight.
I’m not needing the currently section so I converted it to a section to list recipes that I want to try. Some of my favorite books to read are cookbooks.
On the weekly spreads I’m using a combination of meal plan boxes and tracking boxes. And from time to time a little circle from when I charge my Fitbit. I’m keeping things simple so that I can quickly prepare my pages and jot down numbers and things.
I’ve been picking colors that match the Happy Planner monthly colors. For May I used Sky Blues to coordinate with the May blues and this month I used Blush because the colors worked really well with the pink in the June Spreads.
Here’s the full flip-thru that I shared on YouTube:
Do you have a Happy Planner? How are you using it?
Have a wonderful Monday! Remember to come back tomorrow for a new Design Spotlight for the week, yay!
